已经是第二次在春节期间入院广东大厦了。酒店应该是原来省人民政府的招待所。离北京路步行街及中山纪念堂很近，步行500就可以到最近的地铁站2号线纪念堂站，可以直达广州南站。街对面就有一家广州酒家，到泮溪酒家不远，这是广州早茶的好出处。整洁卫生，比较安静，性价比高，不错的酒店。

广州的老酒店，紧挨着省政府，窗外能看到中山纪念堂。就是附近最近的商业区在北京路，要走一段路才能到，商业气息不太浓厚。附近有公交站和地铁中山纪念堂站。
房间较小但也够住，设施比较老旧但干净卫生。但是房内一些设施年久失修，比如卫生间的排风扇好像不怎么好用，吹风机快要从墙上掉下来了...
预订的是不含早餐的，如果人多还是出去吃早茶比较划算。步行可至陶陶居和点都德。

第一天从广州白云国际机场乘机，从深圳开车到广州，选择住广东大厦考虑到地理位置和停车条件。广东大厦前台服务员热情接待周到的服务，620房内弥漫烟味，只能打开房门通风换气。大厦附近餐厅众多。
