定酒店了才发现，原来两年前朋友旅行照片里惊艳的建筑就是它。
浦江饭店的前身礼查饭店建于1846年。
中国第一盏电灯在此点亮、中国第一部电话在这里接通、西方办有声露天电影在这里首次亮相，爱因斯坦、卓别林、罗素都曾入住。
酒店本身就是一间历史博物馆，不出门呆在里面，就可静享老上海的味道。
值得称道的是酒店在保持当年风貌上做得非常好。住在酒店里，老地板在脚下的咯咯声，已运转80余年的手摇操作电梯的齿轮声，都在述说百年大上海的繁荣与沧桑，加上四周复古的装修，让人有恍然穿越的错觉。
