酒店位置在城北上，周围没有餐饮，酒店可以吃饭，饭吃的口味还可以，价格也不贵，只是条件确实一般，县城只有那个水平。

每次回封邱都住御槐，但这次国庆节回封邱住御槐感觉越来越差，早餐越来越差，5号早上8点去吃早餐竟然几乎没东西吃，问服务员答复说马上续菜，等5分钟就上了一盘炒豆角，无奈吃了一个冷花卷，一点豆角，明明装早餐的器具有保温功能，可能是为了省电装食物器具的插头都没接电源。房间的热水也不太热有时甚至没有，问前台说正在上热水，可能酒店洗浴中心优先供热水，房间的门关不严，卫生一般，洗脸盆的水龙头略开大点水就溅衣服上，枕头套的角是破的，还能叫"国际"酒店吗？县黄池酒店正在装修升级，希望御槐酒店也能改变自己的经营管理，成为封邱县的招牌。

位置比较偏僻，在县城郊区，吃饭购物都很不方便，虽然说是封丘最好的酒店，但设施很一般，干净整洁程度，不如快捷连锁酒店如家和七天。
