酒店位于市区，但周边绿树环抱，加上气候的滋养，非常宜人。穿过酒店停车场对面的马路，就是东湖公园，在湖边石板铺砌的步道上走走，听听虫鸣鸟叫，看看开着的、含苞的玉兰花，惬意自在。特别值得一提的是这次入住六层朝南的房间，能看到东湖湖面和远处的东山，山景湖景尽收眼底，早晨天朗气清，湖面便升起雾气，也值得静静看上一阵。
