设施老旧了些，屋里没有单独的空调，全靠出风口的冷气，房间里虽然有调节板但根本没用好吗？开的最低温度10度制冷也是然并卵，半夜依然热醒。唯一的优势是地理位置方便，离武昌站就两站地铁的距离，有公交去黄鹤楼和户部巷附近，宾馆前台态度还可以，具体位置就在地铁4号线出口处，很好找，去汉口站和武汉站也能坐4号地铁直达，方便。

紫阳湖宾馆算老四星了，可能是军转地方的宾馆(门口的八一军队队徽，一看就知道以前是军队招待所)。房间内设施相对老了些，电视机估计也就32寸，让人意外惊喜的是宾馆的早餐很丰盛口味很好，尤其是那牛肉面很赞！
