1. 由原先的建国饭店翻新来的，部分硬件还是用老的，不过房间里确实装修气味太重，通常5星新酒店都会做专业除甲醛处理，怀疑该酒店没有处理过。
2.酒店虽独用写字楼电梯，有刷卡器却不工作，任何人可以上楼。
3.前台服务不够专业、热情。旁边一组有预定的旅客住店办入住居然办了半个小时。整个入住和退房过程只看到前台的两个人，没有看到保安、保洁、门童等等其他工作人员，存在感很低。加上前面说的上楼不用刷卡，很是担心安全问题。早上5点有人敲房间门并大声喧哗。
4.房型名不副实，宣称45平米的豪华房应该也就28平米左右，和标准间差不多。
5.整个酒店感觉就像中高档快捷酒店那样（参考全季、橘子），完全没有5星级的设施、服务和体验。作为常住雅高的旅客，前一晚才住的同集团的Pullman，按理说和Grand Mercure应是一个档次的品牌，居然各方面差距这么大，真是匪夷所思。
